Cane Sugar Project Introduction
The first stage of producing cane sugar is arranging the raw sugar cane for processing. The tearing machine makes the sugar cane in sheets and filaments. After that, the breaking device was used to flatten the sugar cane to extract the inside sugar. In this stage there added some water for better extraction. Then the juice of sugar cane is produced. At this point, there must have some iron and other impurities. So, the material must go through from removal stage to make the qualified juice.
Squeezing: Sqeezing is used to extract sugar from sugar cane. A squeezer is a high-speed machine where it's easy to remove sugar from sugar cane. At this point, there is a need to add the necessary amount of water for better extraction. The mixed sugar liquid extracted from the press was screened by a roller sieve and then flowed into the sugar liquid box.
Heating, neutralization, and precipitation: The mixed sugar then goes through heating. The heating process works on mixed sugar to separate the non-sugar and sugar. The sugar mixed has a fixed condensation, sterilization, and defoaming effect. That is necessary for this stage. Calcium phosphate was produced by adding phosphoric acid and reacting with lime milk to adsorb anion and achieve a decolorization effect. The flow fumigator is next, and the mixed sugar absorbs SO2 to produce a large amount of CaSO3 precipitation for further adsorption. At this point, absorption is necessary to get the qualified sugar through secondary heating and additional precipitation. The resulting sugar goes through the following process.
Evaporation & crystallization: The evaporation system reduces the amount of water from the material. Crystallization is used to make crystals. These two processes work very similarly. The cleaned sugar goes to the evaporator stage through evaporation. After the necessary time and work, it produces the sugar concentration and sends it to the crystal's crystallization stage to make the mixed crystal precipitation.
Separation: Separation is used to separate the molasses and sugar crystals. The centrifuge machine works on sugar to extract molasses and sugar crystals. At this stage, we get molasses as a separate product. This produced molasses must be back in the crystallizer for the other process to increase production yield. This is the way to increase the output of sugar products.
Cleaning and dissolving: Cleaning adds the necessary water to cane sugar for better dissolution. At this stage, it must follow the water and cane sugar in a specific ratio. That will help to do the further process. This dissolved sugar will use for the following stage refinery process and other processes.
Filtration & Refinery: Filtration is the most necessary stage to get a high-purity product. It helps to extract fewer impurities that are hard to remove by others. It must go through some intelligent pollutant removal process. The refinery is used to remove the coloring substance and some calcium-less impurities. Refinery processes have continuous ion exchange and decolorization systems to get high-purity products—this way, the syrup reaches the high purity level.
Crystallization & separation: Crystallization is used to crystal sugar. The sugar crystallizes at this stage, and the mother liquor separates. In the separation stage, a High-speed centrifugal machine works on the material to separate the liquid and solid. In this way, the crystal separation happened to get the sugar crystal. At the last stage, the sugar crystal goes to the next step for drying and further process.
Drying: Drying is used to get the necessary moisture. Driers have controlled temperatures that help to remove excess water from crystals. The first crystal becomes hot, and the humidity is terminated when it gets cooled. In this way, the crystal reached its required moisture. At last, the qualified cane sugar crystal was produced.
