Wheat Starch Project Introduction
Dough mixing: To make dough, combine the wheat flour with the correct amount of water in a dough mixer. The dough enters the rotary drum filter after spending some time in the dough tank.
Dough washing: To get rid of the starch in the dough, rinse it with the rotating drum filter and a sufficient amount of water.
Separation of gluten & B starch, A starch & fiber and pentosan: Three stages of flour are separated using a tri-canter. The majority of the fibre and A-starch are separated, and the remaining little amount of mixed gluten is recovered before sending the remaining B-starch and gluten to a flash sieve for further separation. The light material pentosan is combined with fibre and dried for use as animal feed after being passed through a rotary drum filter.
Gluten screening: B Starch and gluten will be separated here after entering the flat sieve together. To remove the trace quantity of starch incorporated into the gluten, it is next rinsed through a rotary drum filter.
Dewatering and drying of gluten: After being washed, the gluten is squeezed out of moisture and put into the gluten dryer system, where it is dried to the proper consistency.
Separation of fiber and A-starch: The rotary screen is used to recover the combined trace amounts of gluten after the fibre and A-starch have been processed. The fibre and starch are subsequently separated using a centrifugal sieve.
A starch refinery: Through the refinery, the mixed B starch is separated from the separated A starch. Then, the refined A starch is obtained.
A starch dehydration and drying: In order to achieve the proper water content and obtain qualified A starch, the refined A starch is centrifuged through a dehydration process to obtain the appropriate water content.
B starch: After being combined, the B starch, fibre, and pentosan can either be delivered immediately to the workshop that makes alcohol, or they can be dehydrated using a de-canter before being transferred to the factory that makes drying products. It is used to produce feed after drying.
